Scholarships and Awards

Recently, we held two very important events in the Haileybury Tianjin Theatre / Auditorium. We celebrated our End of Year Awards and Scholarship Ceremony and the Student Leadership Induction Assembly.

The End of Year Awards Ceremony acknowledged last year’s academic achievements for the Years 10 and 11 students, while the Scholarship Ceremony was an opportunity for our 2022 graduates, who graduated in July, to return to Senior School to receive Pathway Scholarships and Special Achievement awards.

The scholarships recognise ‘Excellence in VCE’ and the recipients were students who individually excelled in subjects and in their overall VCE and ATAR performance. These scholarships assist students as they embark on further studies overseas.

The Student Leadership Induction Assembly inducted the student prefects—our School and House Captains—and formally acknowledged them as leaders of our student body.

The issue has been discussed in class and students have researched countries and the viewpoints of various governments and they have presented and defended G20 priorities around the nuclear weapons theme.

Primary School Harvest Festival

Primary School staff and students celebrated the inaugural Harvest Festival by taking part in fun activities and enjoying some wonderful food stalls that showcased local products and taught students about local agriculture. Students learned to make dumplings and shared recipes and cooking tips.
