Sensory Garden

I am delighted to let you know that the sensory garden in the Quad has now been completed. The Quad is an important community space where families gather before and after school. The children have enjoyed exploring this area today and have given it their seal of approval!

Peace Pole at Edrington

In collaboration with Rotary Club of Berwick, we recently installed a Peace Pole at our campus. The message, ‘May Peace Prevail on Earth’, is written in the languages of our school community.

The importance of this message was explained in a ceremony attended by Rotary members and all Junior School students. Our sincere thanks to Rotary for their collaboration on this project.

Exploring the Outdoors

ELC children have access to natural environments, a vegetable garden, trees and plants, rock patches, water, sand and logs. Natural materials are provided to stimulate children’s thinking, collaboration, communication and their ability to make choices in their learning.

Children in Reception and Pre-Prep also enjoy exploring the outdoors and visiting different parts of the campus. They have enjoyed learning about bees and visiting the beehives, going for nature walks and seeing what interesting things they can find with their peers.

Junior School

Year 3 Camp Success

Our Year 3 students finished last term by attending camp at Forest Edge and they had a wonderful time. The Flying Fox was a big hit and they made lots of new friends with the Newlands Year 3 students.

Twisted Science

Excursions have been a big hit, especially after three years without them. At the end of last term, our Year 4 students headed off to Twisted Science with great excitement. They participated in different science investigations and explored biological, chemical and physical sciences. It was a terrific day.
