Meet the Summer Blazer Squad

Haileybury has inducted its Blazer Squads for the APS/AGSV Summer season. The Blazer Squad is a leadership group selected for demonstrating a high level of ability in the chosen sport and, most importantly, demonstrating the highest standards, character and Haileybury values. They are also expected to prioritise Haileybury sport.

We wish these sport leaders all the best for the season.

Diving for Victoria

Captain of Boys’ Diving, Blake Connors (Year 11) has been selected to represent Victoria at the National Championships in Adelaide. Blake is in good form and we look forward to him performing and leading the diving team in the APS Swimming and Diving Finals later in the month.

We wish him all the very best.

Haileybury’s Heptathlon Champions

Congratulations to Mia Scerri (Year 12) for her National U18 Girls title and to Jaz Firth (Year 8) for her Bronze medal in the U15 Girls National Heptathlon Championships in Sydney. We look forward to their upcoming State and National individual championships.

Sport For All

At Haileybury, students can try 38 different sports and activities. The overall aim of the Haileybury Sport Program is to encourage students to be active for life and those values are upheld by the staff and coaches.

Recently, Haileybury Principal | CEO, Mr Derek Scott, assisted with Haileybury’s fifth XI. He umpired and provided valuable tips to our cricketers—an example of the importance placed on sport at Haileybury at all levels.
