Haileybury Foundation celebrates a record first half of 2026
The first six months of 2026 have marked an extraordinary period for the Haileybury Foundation, with unprecedented levels of support from our community helping to strengthen the future of the School and the students whose lives will be transformed through a Haileybury education.
Thanks to the generosity of alumni, current and past parents, staff and friends of the School, the Foundation has recorded its strongest start to a calendar year in its history. Record donations have been received across the Foundation's giving programs, reflecting the growing commitment of our community to ensuring Haileybury continues to provide outstanding opportunities for generations to come. We are thrilled that for the first time in our history over $1 million was gifted in the first six months of 2026.
Just as importantly, 2026 has seen the highest number of individual donors ever contribute to the Foundation during the first half of the year. Every gift, regardless of its size, represents a vote of confidence in Haileybury's mission and demonstrates the collective impact that our community can achieve when it comes together. Over 1100 members of our community actively contribute to the Foundation representing current families, alumni, staff and community groups.
The Voluntary Building Fund has also reached record levels, providing vital support for the ongoing enhancement of learning environments across our campuses. These contributions ensure that current and future students continue to benefit from world-class facilities that inspire learning, innovation and wellbeing.
While celebrating these outstanding results, the Foundation is already looking ahead. Planning is well underway to welcome more than 40 scholarship students who will either commence or continue their education at Haileybury in 2027. Scholarships are provided at each of Haileybury’s Melbourne based campuses as well as Haileybury Rendall School and Haileybury Pangea. Behind each scholarship is a remarkable story of generosity—one that provides talented young people with access to the opportunities, education and lifelong connections that a Haileybury education offers.
The achievements of the first half of 2026 are a testament to the strength of the Haileybury community and the belief that, together, we can make a lasting difference. Every donor has played a role in creating opportunities that will benefit students not only today, but for many years to come.
