Year 12 Graduation — something to celebrate

We were thrilled to celebrate our first graduating cohort of Year 12 students in recent weeks — a milestone for Haileybury and, of course, for our Year 12s and their families. At their final Assembly, we heard a beautiful tribute from Head of House, Natasha Eshuis, while our younger students received some words of advice from the Year 12s themselves.

On Friday 20 October, our Year 12 students, families and staff gathered at Haileybury’s Keysborough campus, in the beautiful Bradshaw Chapel, for the Year 12 Graduation ceremony and Valedictory dinner. The students’ achievements were recognised by Deputy Chair of Council, Deborah Corrigan, and they were welcomed to the Old Haileyburian’s Association by Russell Davidson.

Speeches from Year 12 graduates Anthony, Georgia, Madeline and Kyan paid tribute to the School, staff, families and their fellow students, while CEO | Principal, Derek Scott, celebrated the bold and enterprising spirit that is the mark of Haileybury students and staff.

We thank the many staff and students who contributed to this wonderful event, including our event co-ordinator, Paris Paris, Director of Performing Arts, Rodney Marshall, and Year 10 Pangea student Abby who delivered a stunning violin performance as part of the ceremony.

Learn with Pangea’s Digital Tech Team

Term 4 saw the official launch of Haileybury Pangea’s student-led Digital Tech Team. This is a group of students who have volunteered their time to lead and support students in developing their tech skills, and to make the most of the many digital tools on offer through Haileybury Pangea’s platforms. Students in the team share their tips through assembly presentations, as well as helpful video tutorials and Teams posts.

We thank Haileybury Pangea’s Digital Learning Leader, Geoff Orton, for coordinating this fantastic initiative!
