Book Week celebrations
Book Week brought our Middle School community together for a vibrant celebration of reading, imagination and connection. During a special tutorial session, students shared their favourite books, authors and genres, sparking lively discussions that ranged from classic adventures and fantasy series to contemporary fiction and horror novels. The session created a wonderful opportunity for students across year levels to connect with one another through a shared love of stories.
Staff also continued to foster a culture of reading through initiatives such as student book recommendations, access to online library resources and Book Club activities. It was wonderful to see students so engaged in conversations about books, sharing recommendations and discovering new titles to add to their reading lists. We thank our Middle School students and staff for their enthusiastic participation.
Haileybury Pangea pop-up at Mt Buller
Haileybury Pangea was proud to be present at this year’s Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships at Mt Buller, connecting with families, students and the wider snowsports community through a special pop-up event.
Throughout the championships, many families visited the pop-up to learn more about our personalised approach to learning and the support available to students pursuing demanding training and competition schedules. The event also highlighted the strong connection between Haileybury Pangea and young athletes, including students who undertake extended snow training programs while continuing their studies through our online campus.
We thank Head of House Mrs Natasha Eshuis for leading this event and all our families who stopped by to say hello. We look forward to continuing our support of students who are combining elite sporting pursuits with academic success.
