Australian School of the Year!

Haileybury has been named the Australian School of the Year at the 2018 Australian Education Awards.

The Australian School of the Year Award is an acknowledgement of the strategic vision of the School, strongly supported by the Haileybury community, and implemented by the exceptional executive management team.

Haileybury’s over-arching vision is to be recognised as a great world School, which is closely linked to the mission to develop high-achieving students who are connected globally, to each other and to the communities in which they live and serve.

This award is also a recognition of the outstanding work of all Haileybury staff and the focus on meaningful outcomes for students.

Furthermore, it is a reflection of the commitment made to education by Haileybury students and their parents.

At Haileybury we are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where every student matters every day.

This culture results in a learning community of partnerships both within and outside the School.

Nominated across a number of categories, the School was also named Primary School of the Year – Non-Government.

This award is further recognition of the Explicit Teaching Model that delivers such wonderful outcomes for our primary students.
