It was a chilly morning on Monday, 9 June, but it was all smiles as we welcomed back all Haileybury students to campus! From the joyful sound of bagpipes to students enthusiastically holding up homemade welcome back signs as everyone was arriving - each campus celebrated in its own special way.
We are incredibly proud of the students and how they have approached online learning during Term 2. They have come back to school ready to learn and keen to physically see their friends and teachers.
The simple joy of students and staff reconnecting with each other face-to-face highlighted what we already know—relationships are what truly matter.
Haileybury is grateful to our families for their partnership with our amazing educators as we transition back to the classroom.
We would like to acknowledge and thank all our parents for their support this term. Your willingness to spend time during the day supporting our younger students, assisting the children with organising themselves and speaking regularly with teachers about how to improve things in this environment was so appreciated.
We could not have done it without your commitment.
