General: Ms Liang has a passion for the education and health of people in our communities.

Academic: Following Haileybury, Ms Liang graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Marketing) and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting. While working, she completed education in fields that interested her such as GAICD, Agile working and change management.

Career and professional activities: Ms Liang commenced her career as an intern at EY, working and studying simultaneously. She was involved in the Strategy and Transactions area of EY and worked with a number of ASX listed, global corporations and government departments. After seven years, she moved to Bendigo to work with Primary Health Networks analysing health investments and projects in the Victorian health system. She is currently the Director of Development and Operations at Evolution Trustees (a fiduciary organization)

Board experience: Ms Liang is currently a Board member of AMES Australia and a Board member of the Australian Dental Health Foundation.

Connection to Haileybury: Ms Liang met her husband at Haileybury in year 11 at the Tattoo and contributes her success to her teachers who poured their heart and soul into her education. She was also the School Vice-Captain and was involved in the Old Haileyburians Association.

Values: Ms Liang is committed to the holistic education of our future leaders and having a long-term growth mindset. The type of holistic education she believes in championing is the development that remains meaningful throughout an individual’s life. She contributes success (which can look different for each individual) to perseverance, overcoming and learning from failures. Kindness, integrity and honesty are vital in all her undertakings.
