Throughout 2025, Newlands has continued to deepen our commitment with a focused strategy we have called Through the Eyes of Excellence. It challenges us all to see every lesson, every interaction and every opportunity as a chance to pursue excellence.
Newlands is a wonderful campus, with well over 1,000 students. It is a place where, supported by a team of brilliant academic staff, students are encouraged to not only cover the curriculum but instead, uncover it. For some students, Newlands represents an eleven-year journey from Early Learning to the end of middle school, where they grow, question, stumble, rise, and ultimately discover who they are becoming. What happens here is powerful. Newlands is where foundations are laid quietly, day by day, until they become a strength. It is here that students build the academic courage to take risks, the resilience to persist, and where curiosity and creativity is a compass that nudges our students to ask one more question, explore one more idea and see the world not as it is, but as it could be. The Newlands years are not just preparation for what comes next, they are the foundation upon which every success in Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 will stand. As our students step forward, especially those now commencing the final four years of their Haileybury journey, may they carry with them the depth of learning, character and curiosity shaped here at Newlands.

Congratulations and thank you to all members of the Newlands community for a fabulous 2025. Next year, we look forward to celebrating 50 years of our remarkable campus: Newlands.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our wonderful HPFK community for your ongoing support, generosity and time throughout the year. We truly couldn’t do what we do without the parents and families who volunteer at events, assist in the uniform shop, and show up to support our community in so many ways.
Your willingness to get involved, lend a hand and support one another is what makes HPFK such a welcoming and connected community. We are incredibly grateful for the positive spirit and teamwork shown across all our events this year.
To our new families joining us in 2026, welcome to the HPFK community. We wish everyone a safe, happy and relaxing Christmas and New Year, and we look forward to connecting with you all again in the year ahead.
