Old Haileyburians Association

Celebrating connection and community at OHA Week

We were thrilled to celebrate another unforgettable OHA Week — a tradition that continues to unite students, staff, alumni and families across the Haileybury community.

Honouring outstanding alumni

One of the week’s most meaningful moments was the presentation of the OHA Outstanding Young Alumni Awards, which recognised seven remarkable individuals across five fields of expertise. These inspiring recipients are proof of the extraordinary paths our alumni continue to forge:

  • ARTS: Grace Laing (OH 2018) and Beau Woodbridge (OH 2020)
  • BUSINESS: Daniel Harrison (OH 2009) and Tuscany Williams (OH 2010)
  • SPORT: Luke Davies-Uniacke (OH 2017)
  • STEM: Kavinya Dissanayake (OH 2020), represented by her sister Dhimanya Dissanayake (OH 2023)
  • COMMUNITY: Sherman Quach (OH 2015)

Their achievements remind us of the strong foundation a Haileybury education provides — and the global impact our alumni are making in their fields.

A week of fun, food and friendship

All campuses including Haileybury Rendall School and Pangea came alive with the spirit of the OHA. OHA Week offered a vibrant program of activities designed to engage Pre-Senior and Senior students with the School’s rich heritage and dynamic alumni network.

From food trucks and carnival games to inspiring presentations and interactive activities, students gained valuable insights into the lifelong opportunities available through the OHA — and developed a deeper understanding of the association’s mission to foster lasting connection.

Generations Breakfast: celebrating legacy

The OHA Generations Breakfast at the Keysborough campus was another highlight. Families with a shared Haileybury legacy came together over a delicious breakfast and captured the moment with fabulous family magnet portraits. It was a heartwarming celebration of tradition and togetherness.

Class of 1995 Reunion: 30 years strong

A massive turnout by old friends who reunited and made new memories at the Class of 1995’s 30-Year Reunion, was held at Haileybury City campus. The night was filled with laughter, nostalgia and storytelling, highlighting the enduring friendships that Haileybury helps foster. Thank you to the Haileybury staff who taught this cohort back in the day and joined the celebration.

A taste of the Peninsula

To round out the week, OHA members gathered at The Epicurean Red Hill for a private dining experience. Guests enjoyed a gourmet three-course meal in one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most stunning venues. It was a perfect blend of fine food, conversation and community — a fitting finale to a remarkable week.

A special thank you to our dedicated OHA Council members, Chapter Ambassadors and Club administrators — who are volunteers — for their tireless efforts in shaping and supporting the future of the association.

Once a Haileyburian, always a Haileyburian
