Haileybury Rendall School was filled with excitement this morning as it welcomed 438 students through its gates.
The School’s facilities and programs, established by Kormilda College, have been enhanced so that it can continue its strong education and Indigenous boarding focus.
Named after Haileybury’s founder Charles Rendall, Haileybury Rendall School offers the resources of Australia’s largest school across ELC to Year 12. It will teach Victoria’s curriculum and offer the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).
Students wore their new uniforms proudly as they all gathered for Haileybury Rendall School's first assembly.
Whilst the School grounds were familiar for many students, one third of the starters today were attending the School for the first time.
Students noticed changes around the old Kormilda College grounds, with new Haileybury Rendall School signage, landscaping and the magenta colours adorning the walls.
Students were introduced to their new classes and teachers and enjoyed the first day of this new chapter in Haileybury history.
